FERRYCID prolongs the lifetime of the paint, removes rust stains from painted surfaces, cleans and bleaches wood decks, removes chalk, stains and rust from sanitary installations.

FERRYCID reacts chemically when applied to uncoated rusty steel surfaces, neutralizes the rust and gives a protective base for the paint.

FERRYCID penetrates into steel and provides an excellent rust free, clean surface with better adhesion for the next coating and gives an improvement in protection durability.

Range of Applications

FERRYCID is specially designed to remove and prevent rust in toughconditions on board ships.

FERRYCID will completely remove rust and rust stains from both uncoatedand coated surfaces, as well as smaller parts, and provide the perfect base for coating or re-coating.

FERRYCID is also very effective in the removal of rust, lime, chalk and similar stains from surfaces, when used as a primer beforepainting, and sanitary fixtures, and also bleaches wooden decks.

Directions for Use

FERRYCID is delivered ready for use and is applied to badly rusted metal, after removing loose rust, with a brush. When surface is dry, rinse with water. All surfaces to be treated needs to be cleaned from oil, grease and dirt.

FERRYCID removes rust stains from coated surfaces, lime and chalkstains from sanitary fixtures, and other small areas of rust with a rag or immersion bath, as applicable. To bleach wooden decks dilute to 50% with water, swab decks and leave to soak.

FERRYCID is delivered in 1L plastic drums and 25L steel drums.

To loosen rusted moving parts, FERRYL RUSTOIL should be used.
