FERRYL 101 is a chemically active rust preventing oil, substantially containing FERRYL RUSTINHIBITORS.

FERRYL 101 gives a semi-dry, tough film with very good adhesion, lubrication and rust prevention properties.

FERRYL 101 has a high melting point.

Range of Applications

FERRYL 101 is used for the same purposes as FERRYL 202 but is especially recommended in cold climate.

FERRYL 101 is with advantage used for rust protection and lubrication of wires, derricks, running rigging,winches, windlasses, tension wires, lifeboat falls, tank-cover screws, valves, gear-wheels, hatchcover wheels, bolts, nuts, spindles, etc. or where anoil is preferred to a grease. Please note that for best result on new wires, use FERRYL 101 as first coating as it will penetrate right into the core of the wire and after the first coating you can use FERRYL 202 Standard or White.

Directions for Use

FERRYL 101 is delivered ready to use and can be applied by brush, spray gun or dipping. The semi-dry film can easily be removed with FERRYL 404 or FERRYL CLEANING FLUID.

FERRYL 101 is not normally diluted but if desired or required, Ferryl 404 can be used.

FERRYL 101 is delivered in 25 liter steel drums.

FERRYL RUSTOIL can with advantage be used to remove moisture before application of Ferryl 101.
